Probably her best, Clothing Level: Fully clothed Comments: This movie is about a world where vampires and werewolves have been at war for ages. Kate plays a vampire warrior (the main character) who has to figure out why the werewolves are so interested in a human played by Scott Speedman. Oh, man, Kate as a vampire is so hot... those fangs, and all the black.
	Underworld: Evolution, Character: Selene Seen It? No, Looks Hot for Her? Yes
	Pearl Harbor, Character: Evelyn Seen It? No, Looks Hot for Her? No, Clothing Level: 40's style swimsuit Comments: I think people describe this as the tiny event of the Pearl Harbor attack interrupting the much more important workings of a retarded love triangle. Kate is the girl in this triangle (a nurse.. someone needs to run a cold shower for me). At the time, this was the most expensive film in history (not counting the effect of inflation) and if I'm not mistaken, it still is.
	Serendipity, Character: Sara Seen It? Yes, Recommend It? Big Yes, Looks Hot for Her? Big Yes, Clothing Level: Fully clothed Comments: This is a romantic comedy where Kate is the female star. Her deal is that when she and John Cusack first meet, she's big into her beliefs on the effects of fate. So she thinks things like that if they randomly pick the same floor in separate elevators in a 50 or so story hotel, it was meant to be.
	Van Helsing, Character: Anna Seen It? No, Looks Hot for Her? Yes Comments: Kate's the female lead in this. She and Hugh Jackman fight Count Dracula, the Wolfman, the Frankenstein monster... when did Kate turn into Abbott and Costello?
	Brokedown Palace, Character: Darlene Seen It? Part, Looks Hot for Her? No, Clothing Level: One-piece swimsuit Comments: If Kate looked familiar in Pearl Harbor, this is probably why. She and Claire Danes have the starring roles. They get framed by a drug trafficker and have to deal with a Chinese jail, the unfortunate part of which that Kate's hair gets cut off in jail.

	The Last Days of Disco, Character: Charlotte Seen It? Yes, Recommend It? Yes, Looks Hot for Her? Big Yes, Clothing Level: Fully clothed Comments: This movie is about Chloe Sevigny's love life in the late 70's when discos are on their last legs. Kate play's Chloe's character's best friend, roommate, and coworker. This is worth noting because it was when she first really came to American movies after a long British stint. This is when she first topped my personal list, about 3 years before Pearl Harbor.
	Much Ado about Nothing, Character: Hero Seen It? Yes, Recommend It? Big Yes, Looks Hot for Her? No, Clothing Level: Could not possibly be showing less skin Comments: This is Kate's first important role. This movie has an all-star cast: Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, Denzel Washington, Michael Keaton... and then for some reason Keanu Reeves playing Don John the bastard (i.e. illegitimate child). Kate and Emma Thompson play sisters, Emma being the brainy one and Kate the hot one. The part is big but the dialogue is scarce. Anyway, this is one of Shakespeare's comedies. It's about Keanu Reeves destroying Kate's reputation, and her getting it back while Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson get together.
	The Aviator, Character: Ava Gardner Seen It? No, Looks Hot for Her? Yes Comments: This is a Howard Hughes biopic. When I say Ava Gardner, I do mean the famous actress from way back when, who was apparently a big part of Hughes's romantic life.
