Always Surprises
Well, I finally put up some long-overdue shots of Paris Hilton. Eventually I'll work in every really hot major celebrity that takes their clothes off, but it'll take a while and I prefer some of the smaller name actresses sometimes because everyone and their brother already has a page you can visit about someone like J-Lo.
In the meantime, I tend to keep track of a lot of things about the site to see what we're doing right or wrong. For example, I monitor what searches get used a lot in the Google bars at the bottom of the page. Some searches there included people like Jessica Alba and Chloe Sevigny. I thought that was a good idea, so I put Jessica up, and I have some Chloe pictures on the way.
Anyway, we see some really strange things every now and then. Apparently our #5 search through the Google bar is "Kevin Federline cock". Now, if they were saying that Kevin Federline is a cock, I would tend to agree, but I don't think that was the intention. Apparently a ton of Google Image searches have been leading people here, to a picture of Eliza Dushku in a bikini from The New Guy. The search is for "arnold schwarzenegger nude," which I suppose turns up our page because Eliza Dushku starred in True Lies with Arnold. But I have no idea why, if you're looking for nude pictures of Arnold, you'd click on a thumbnail of Eliza Dushku. She is clearly not Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Also, I went through our request reports to see what people are downloading. I managed to filter it this time, so I actually see the useful stuff, instead of the core JavaScript files I use on every page so that I can update one file instead of 200. The top 2 pictures by download are both of Rachael Ray from the Food Network. I don't get that. I didn't even think she was all that hot -- I just found the idea of someone from the Food Network posing interesting. Besides, I don't remember us having any links from places people go to find Rachael Ray, and our most popular page is B, because we're in webrings for Kate Beckinsale and Brooke Burke. R is only the 14th most popular letter, out of 25 that actually have people, and it's not like Rachael's the only one on there. Charlotte Ross shows up twice in the top 40 pictures. I guess people must visit B and then not download anything. Well, download something, already... I made the page so you could have hot pictures -- you might as well take them. Do it for America...
