Structural Changes
Well, it's been a tough couple of weeks. Iraq continues to be a disaster, new polls are showing that over half the country wants me impeached, and most importantly,
one of the weekly showings of Teletubbies has been cut out of the lineup on my local affiliate. At least I'll always have my beautiful web page, with its beautiful women. Well, unless Mark Foley gets near my computer and tries to add Hailey Joel Osment to the site again. That guy is such a pest. I shouldn't have bothered talking to him, but I really needed someone to help me move.
Not too long after the last update, I'd thrown up a rather large gallery for Jenna Von Oy, formerly of "Blossom". After that, though, what I've really been doing is remaking a lot of the infrastructure of the page. So most of what's changed isn't visible, because I'll make it look the same but have it done a different way, but this different way opens up a lot of doors. And I've capitalized on that,
by starting to add things that are visible.
You'll notice I have all the girls thumbnails automatically generating on the front page,
and I've added similar functionality to the Rankings pages. It's been largely idiot-proofed now, too, which is good considering I'm so dense that I accidentally lock myself in the closet every morning, so it will avoid a lot of the mismatched thumbnails and broken links and whatever from doing it manually. The girls' pages now are broken up automatically every time into groups of 60. It's one of those things that didn't matter back when I started this and the biggest galleries were fifty or so, but with some pushing 200, I don't want you to have to load all those thumbnails at once. And I've changed around the way it loads images, so now you can move left and right between pictures to save time. Plus, if you like the old style of just loading the picture straight through, you can click the image and it'll do that. And I added WMD Search to the front page, although that's borrowed from Zoltar, who runs RepublicanJoke.Com. I'm not sure what I'd be doing in a graphic for a joke-related site, though. I mean, there's nothing funny about me...
