Eat It, Little Demmies
It's an interesting few weeks to be me, even though nobody's been paying attention to me, or possibly because nobody's been paying attention to me. Unfortunately, that might apply to the page as well, because I'm not sure if anybody's noticed that there are new pictures in the galleries for Anna Faris,
Amy Cobb, Isla Fisher, and Nancy O'Dell. Actually, the one for Amy Cobb isn't too substantial, but the one for Isla Fisher is a good one, and the Nancy O'Dell one was enough to give her a full page instead of a section.
It's been a good few updates, but America is just not appreciating the George. What's odd is that they're sopping up everything that the George did and said, as long as it comes from somebody else, usually my copycat Rudy. I should sue the bastard for plagiarism. Only I'm allowed to have ideas this badly thought out. I can't figure out why the bases of both major political parties are so determined to lose the presidential election, though, especially the Democrat Party or the Democrat-Republican Party or whatever the hell we're calling them these days. Are they just trying to pick the person who has the best chance of losing? Karl's going around claiming that this was his work, and that his brilliant plan to attack Hillary to get her rating among the Democrats up was such a spectacular success. I was so certain that nobody was dumb enough to fall for it, but then again, I say that about all the plans he gives me and the country always falls for them. I've still got my foot in my mouth over the statement, "Karl, we can't go saying Clinton was wagging the dog to have a war on terrorism and then go invade Iraq to get my popularity up."
I suppose my popularity's not so hot these days, but that ridiculous Democrat Party-controlled Congress is even lower. They're around where the Republican-controlled Congress was last summer, which these days is about 5 points under me. Don't they ever learn from their mistakes? They've spent the last six years screwing around with no philosophy or action plan and just following the polls, and getting nowhere from it. Why would you follow the public's opinion? They don't know what they're doing. Look who's president. They'll hate their own policy as soon as they see the results, and will pretend it was never theirs or failed by phantom magic related to the politicians enacting it. When we finally self-destructed from all the scandals, the Democrat Party got control but didn't do anything. But does anyone show recognition for the Dubya in the middle of all seeing how ridiculous the Unbearable Lightness of Dean's Party is? No.
And yet everything I've been doing is coming back, with different names and different people, and everyone loves those but hates me. Seriously, what the hell? Invading Iran over having some weapons that are a lot less than ours and may not exist? Um, hello? I did the exact same thing, with the letter N replaced by Q. It's why my rating's in the shitter, and a bunch of Congressional seats turned over to spite me. I've even been going off about Iran and invading it for months. If you don't believe me, see the February 2 blog, Bachmann, Turn Her Over Dry. Stinkin' ingrates. I'm glad I pocketed all those kickbacks in that Tamaflu deal.
