The Conservative Comeback
Okay, so there's all this and that about the special elections and Democrats Travis Childers, Don Cazayoux, and Bill Foster winning House seats in heavily Republican districts.
But the real story is that the conservatives are out of their down period, dishin' out some Texas-style justice to that party of labor activists. That's in the United Kingdom, which I'm told is another way of saying the U.S.A. I think this is a kingdom, anyway. We even have that goofy jester with the big ears who pronoonces words wrong and gets garbled them all up.
It looks like in the U.K., the conservatives had been a long, long way from first place (the U.K. has a three-party system, and you vote for the party, not individual candidates), but now they're in a very comfortable first place. They got 44%, while the Liberal Democrats got 25%, and the Labour Party got 24%. The other 7% must have gone to parties for independent Scottish or Welsh states, or Ron Paul or something. I only get three parties into the results and the words start hurting my wee neo-con brain, so they put on some Big Bird or something. Either way, to celebrate, the people I hire to ghost-write this page have got a nice surprise because of the good news. It's a hot new picture of Margaret Thatcher half-naked, which I'm sure is at least 0% real.
In the meantime, I've got a new gallery up for singer-turned-actress-turned-singer-again Ashanti. She's actually been on my list of galleries to add for a long time, but I was going to make my next D addition Hilary Duff. The new Maxim's out with her, although for some reason Shannon Elizabeth is on the cover instead, so it sort of tipped the scales. I think I'll have to rescan one of those shots, though, to deal with the other side of the page bleeding through. I've also added to the galleries for Sarah Michelle Gellar and Holly Weber. Neither of those two is done, but you know us Republicans. I'm going to do those updates in pieces so I can claim I added pictures 100 times. I might even have one of those galleries expire. Holly already had the biggest gallery on the page before I added to it, and now it's up to 5 pages, but it'll be a lot bigger soon.
