	Olympic Games Appearances: 2004, 2008 Medals: 2 gold Comments: Yelena hasn't just won the gold medal in the pole vault in every opportunity. She's also set world records both times, and both times it involved breaking the record set by her. Not just counting the Olympics, she still holds the record. She's set the indoor record 12 times and the outdoor record 15 times.
	IAAF Continental Cup Comments: Yelena won the pole vault in 2006, back when this event was called the IAAF World Cup. This competition is held every four years.
	IAAF World Championships in Athletics Comments: Yelena won the pole vault in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. In 2004, 2006, and 2008, this was at the World Indoor Championships (held on the even-numbered years). In 2005 and 2007, this was at the normal, outdoor World Championships in Athletics (held on the odd-numbered years).
	IAAF World Athletics Final Comments: Yelena won the pole vault in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2009. She stopped winning after then because they stopped having the World Athletics Final after 2009.
